The Bulgarian gas transmission operator Bulgartransgaz EAD marked its 40th anniversary as a successor of the first gas company in the country at an official cocktail-party at the NationalHistoryMuseum in Boyana. The event, which took place on June 18th, 2014, was attended by almost 300 guests - high-ranking representatives of institutions, diplomatic missions in the country, international organizations and partners. The Minister of Economy and Energy Mr. Dragomir Stoynev honoured the celebration with his presence.
In his speech, the Executive Director of Bulgartransgaz EAD emphasized that the past 40 years are an occasion for pride and contemplation. "These years are full of many and all important stages of development of the company, the Energy sector and the Bulgarian economy as a whole, accompanied by ambitious plans and numerous implemented gas projects, marked by the principles of Bulgartransgaz EAD - security, stability, reliability and development, inspired by the professionalism, continuity and positive spirit of the people working in the company", pointed out Mr. Kiril Temelkov in his address.
The establishment of a prize for the employees who in the years have worked with loyalty for the prosperity of Bulgartransgaz EAD, developing at the same time their own professionalism, was announced as the culmination of the evening. The nine employees with over 30 years length of service in the Company and at least three levels higher in hierarchy were awarded personally by Minister Dragomir Stoynev with an honorary diploma and a badge of high respect with the name "With triple longevity":
