In line with the Methodology setting out natural gas access and transmission prices through Bulgartransgaz EAD gas transmission networks, a public consultation was held in the period 3 August 2017 - 25 August 2017, including, within which positions of the interested parties were received. After their review the final access and transmission prices for the gas year starting on 1 October 2017 to 30 September 2018 were approved with decisions under item 1.1 and item 1.2 of Protocol MB No.231/21.09.2017 of Bulgartransgaz EAD Management Board and decisions under item 2.1 and item 2.2 of Protocol SB No.25/21.09.2017 of Bulgartransgaz EAD Supervisory Board and these shall come into force as of 1 October 2017.
The prices are set entirely based on the Methodology setting out natural gas access and transmission prices through Bulgartransgaz EAD gas transmission network, published in State Gazette, issue 72 of 29.08.2014, which has passed two public consultations at the time of its adoption and its amendment in 2016 and on the approved required revenue of the company, adopted with decision НГП 01/01.08.2017 of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission.
